Your top 3

Hey Vinyl lovers,

I'am looking to order some more records through Acoustic Sounds - Quality Records.

Please share with me your top 3 recirds you would recommend, any genre.

My top 3:

UHQP - Miles Davis  - Kind of Blue

Norah Jones - Chasing Pirates

Anne Bison - Treetop

kunalraiker

Cowboy Junkies The Trinity Sessions, AP reissue

Jimmy Witherspoon  Roots. AP reissue

John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman

My top 3 are:

Genesis - A Trick of the Tale

Steely Dan - Aja

Jethro Tull - Stand Up

I've got those double 45's of all of them...

I just received my copy of King Crimson Live at Penn State from Burning Shed. 1974 concert meticulously recorded as you might expect with Robert Fripp involved. I've got the King Crimson 2014 NYC on order, comes out July 10th. Also just received my copy of The White Album. Next for me is to find some good recordings of David Grisman stuff - Jazz Alley comes to mind.

Any Direct to Disc Vinyl if you are open to all genre's.  To get started:"Cadillac and Mack The Detroit Four".  Direct to Disc Vinyl is recorded/cut directly onto a lacquer disc without the use of magnetic tape, capturing the performance in real-time. This technique produces high-quality sonics that is worth exploring in my humble Audiophile opinion.
