Power Cable Suggestions.

I am looking for a new power cable. I am looking into spending anywhere from $300-$500. I am torn between a Furutech Astoria Plus, DH Labs Power plus/cryo and last but hopefully not least, CullenCable Cross Series II. I just learned about CullenCables today and they look very nice. This cable will be used to power up a Naim SN3 or REL T7i. There is Morrow Audio which currently has a 25% off on all their power cables. I need a power cable asap. Any help will be very appreaciated.

“And those who say they can't hear differences in power cables have very low tier systems or rooms or have never tried it and are just internet arm chair pundits.”

Here we go again. Déjà vu, except you forgot to add, “or can’t hear.”

OP, you will probably get lots of recommendations.  If you hear a difference, that is all that matters.  I use suitably sized, shielded power cables, made from good quality copper, and I don’t hear any reliably distinguishable differences between them in my system, and with my gear (which is all known for having well-designed and built power supplies). YMMV, for sure.

I forgot to mention that it will be for the NAIMs amp stage. The preamp section is being powered by a Teddy Pardo. From what everyone has told me on different boards including the NAIM forums; the TeddyCap or Hicap should take the better cable. Currently I have an Isotek Evo Sequel on the Teddy and an Audioquest Blizzard on the Naim. Whichever cable I buy next will have to duke it out with the Blizzard and the loser goes to the REL.

I have always hesitated to buy a power cable for subwoofers. though in your situation what a great idea. I am a big believer in having your best power cord on your source.

They do make a difference for subs. Power cable for sub is what made me believe that power cords can make a difference. Many years ago I tried one of those Monosaudio/viborg ones from Amazon on my sub. They are $40 and make a noticeable improvement. Try one of those, if you don't hear an improvement, its just $40 that you can always return.

@jasonbourne71  Agree completely, upgrading a power cable won't do anything unless you are using something really crappy.  However, I bought these just for the bling.  They claim to be OCC and 10 AWG although the Chinese have been known to lie a time or two.
