First Watt SIT-5 Monos

Looking for feedback or even better experience with these amps.  Considering them to drive a pair of Falcon Acoustics Gold Badge LS3/5as with stereo Rel TX5s in a dedicated and fully treated 12x11 room.

Not enough power for the Falcons. You would be better off with a 100wpc amp. Otherwise on loud dynamic peaks the the SIT amps will clip.

I have Rogers LS3/5a’s. I first heard them in 1977 driven by a 200wpc GAS Ampzilla. They do benefit from adequate power. Consider getting a 100wpc Pass or Krell Class A amp.

6 Moons and the First Watt website list the SIT5 at 35watts @ 8ohms,and 60watts @ 4ohms. I am currently driving a pair of Graham Chartwell LS3/5’s with a First Watt J2. That’s 25 watts @ 8ohms,and 13watts @ 4 ohms. I find that very sufficient. Best of luck.
