Dear @decooney @josemar : I can read that after 105 the sound is smoother and more natural, obviously that you like those added capacitor distortions a lot because a capacitor a true capacitor by definition can's have a self kind of sound: a capacitor must be not natural but neutral to the signal that pass through it.
Those Mundorf model are MKP type capacitor and even the " high end " Mundorf are not Self-Healing, go figure ( at least in the Mundorf site does not mention that critical and important capacitor characteristic as a fact the Mundorf information in site is very poooor but you can read:
" MCap® SUPREME EVO are the perfect liaison of the two aforementioned Mundorf MKP special designs and have been specially developed and tuned to meet the increased demands and possibilities of the latest generation of loudspeaker drivers "..
With all respect all is bording stupidity to show those caps and tube electronics owners extremely happy with.
The Wima FKP 1 is not a MKP type capacitor but 1 step up from the MKP caps. Here you can read about that Wima FKP 1:
e_WIMA_FKP_1.pdf
Way different to a y other capacitor in the world even better than the best MKP from Vishay that's the other whole industry standard alog Wima. josemar/decooney can you understand the differences with your caps?
That " industry " means: military, medical instrumentstations, aero space, automotive, audio and every industry you can imagine. Tha's why Vishay/Wima are considered by engeneers the Industry Standard.
You will never see any " high end " caps as the Mundorf, Duelund, Clarity, etc in the Industry.
Well to each of you your own.
Enough.
