@parkergetdean - That sounds more like a description of 'Yesterday' which I believe has been covered more than any other song ever. 

@larsman yes you may be right and I may be projecting. I never liked Yesterday. Do you mean covers or the actual song?

I do mean covers, from all around the world, but I would guess that that would go along with the original getting more plays than any other one, all around the world. 'Here Comes The Sun' is a great song, but I wouldn't even think it would be in the running for that. I once liked 'Yesterday', and still do but very much overplayed. I definitely prefer it to Paul's ballads like 'Long and Winding Road' and 'Let It Be' (I don't much like anything on 'Let it Be' except 'Across the Universe'). 

I am all for Paul's ballads :) It's hard to choose, and I definitely have a connection to so many songs that it's not about what's good, but what are the associated memories.
