Three things I’ve learned about listening.

1. If you listen for sonic problems you’ll find them.

2. Since it is a hobby, you feel you have to play with it.

3. If it sounds really good, leave it alone!

I am always enjoying the music. It’s just the fact that I don’t Have a couple million dollars sitting in a bank somewhere. So I skimp and save for the next one. Currently on the fence about whether to get a network switch or a GIK Acoustics panel https://share.google/5CYJe950spPMsW9rG to put in between the TV any suggestions?

I like your list.

I recently upgraded my amp, and the sound of the music changed. More bass, crisper bass, more stereo separation, more detail, slightly different sound, possibly a bit 'brighter' or possibly just more detail... who knows?
Anyways, it has been less than a week and honestly, I am now so used to the 'new' sound, it is becoming hard to remember the 'old' sound. I wrote down my impressions a week ago, or else all I could have said is 'its better'.
@rvpiano  "3. If it sounds really good, leave it alone."   So true.

Good advice all around. I channeled my "need" to always be chasing better sound into finding new music. The worlds music is at our fingertips.
