Earth Day, turn those amps OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Earth Day, turn those amps OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've said it before, I'll say it again, it is Environmentally IRRESPONSIBLE to leave your equipment on for long periods of time, before or after, or truly despicable, ON all the time!

On, 20 mins, listen, done, off!

Doctors, Lawyers, Trust Fund Kiddos, come on now.

Where were you in 1970?, I was there in Manhattan (went to college at Pratt in Brooklyn 1966-1970)

@devinplombier Certainly. You also realize if we continue in the usual manner, earth will be uninhabitable. Alternatively, nature will reduced the human population with diseases [COVID anyone?], accumulation of toxins [microplastics, Pacific Garbage Patch], natural disasters [very much on the rise], water shortages [locally an issue], food shortages [currently being discussed in context of Straits of Hormuz].
There is a difference between steering and outlawing. Look at tobacco. It's not illegal, but discouraged in so many different ways that usage goes down. I would welcome a time when having kids is as stigmatized and discouraged as smoking.
I find it morally better for humans to become rational and reduce population on our terms rather than having that externally imposed. But that's just me.

OK, now you are simply trolling. You can't say something this outrageous seriously.  This statement is not utopian, it's the wildest sci-fi batsh%t totalitarian n@zi stuff

This is awesome. Earth day can of worms.

Don’t just turn your amplifier off…turn your dick off.

man did this thread get off its rails…

@oberoniaomnia

it's not any kids. Oh no. It is their kids, their genetic offspring. That is selfish.

Adopted kids is more similar to caring for a pet or plant so another living being with which you do not share that many genes. However, still a hobby in the sense of unnecessary, elective activity.

All I can say is, it's best you don't have any kids.

I bet adoptive kids beg to differ with your viewpoint and are grateful some folks decided to take an elective.
