Earth Day, turn those amps OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Earth Day, turn those amps OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've said it before, I'll say it again, it is Environmentally IRRESPONSIBLE to leave your equipment on for long periods of time, before or after, or truly despicable, ON all the time!

On, 20 mins, listen, done, off!

Doctors, Lawyers, Trust Fund Kiddos, come on now.

Where were you in 1970?, I was there in Manhattan (went to college at Pratt in Brooklyn 1966-1970)

I think the 21st century mutated a lot of genes and our society is full of zero empathy sociopaths.

We don't get free electricity - we pay for it.
As long as I pay for something I decide how to use it.
I don't keep my amp ON 24/7  to preserve tubes.
Preamp and the CD player are ON 24/7. So are my computers.

@parkergetdean

'Fraid you're confusing "zero empathy sociopaths" with ordinary folk who no longer give a crap.

We don't get free electricity - we pay for it.
As long as I pay for something I decide how to use it.

if you pay for oil and bullets, are you free to dump it in the Ocean and shoot people with it for fun? The fact that you pay for something gives you no right to cause undue harm. Grown ups use resources responsibly.

The outlook of a true lunatic. Two are against the law, and one is not. You don't get to decide what is undue harm. That is why we have laws. You don't get to decide what is fair and what is foul. Responsible people follow the laws. Following the laws is acting responsibly. Going above and beyond is on you and you alone. What you decide is fair and foul is not a requirement for anyone else to follow.
