Chat, A-S class D and Klipsch

Room dimensions and materials, treatments or not, are also indispensable variables. Otherwise, people will just mention what they like, have heard of, have read, etc. Unless you want to go on a wild goose chase, determining those variables is necessary.

Room is 26 x 14 x 9, 16 panels on walls, 12 panels on ceiling, 70's rock is my main listening, little bit of jazz. 99% digital these days.

currently have revel f208 and svs subs, I like the sound but I would describe it as very neutral.

it sounds stupid to say but I'm looking for something more "musical" or engaging. 

I found it interesting that AI suggested speakers I would more associate with tube amps or low watt class A's than the D's 

Using Luxman 590AXII (30 wpc class A); plenty of power and sounds great with Forte IV's.

If you have the extra dough, I would go for the Klipsch Cornwall IV.  Much better bass, and a much fuller sound.  If I wasn’t already committed to my JBL’s, that is what I would go with. They are extremely efficient and will go with any amp.
