Is Qubuz Direct really better

I have had Qobuz for several years now, and I see the Q direct came out last year.  Is it really different and worth using.  The way I am reading it you don't need the streamer app anymore and slightly better sound quality.  What say you smart people?

Have you used the roon dsp settings and is it worthwhile

No, I have not. I don’t have the capability to make a profile for my room. The other consideration is that I play analog far more often than I play digital, so I don’t see the point of fussing with room correction for digital when it won’t help me with analog. Given that I am satisfied with how my system performs anyway.

I started my digital life using my Mac. I then added a Schiit DAC, followed a Blusound streamer. This was all used to feed a McIntosh separates.  I then decided to downsize (Number of pieces) and sold all but my turntable(LP12) and bought a Linn MDSM/4 which is an all in one Pre/Amp/ DAC/Streamer. A couple of years later i upgraded to a ADSM with an internal Katalyst DAC and Room Optimization. Each upgrade yielded a significant improvement in sound. While I am very happy with the sound.  Linn uses there own software for all functions.  It can be PC, tablet, or phone bases. I prefer using the tablet. My only complaint is the ‘explorer (search) does not use wild cards. All search functions require correct spelling.  The newer models provide an upgrade to the next level DAC (Organic) and all models have upgradeable power supplies, which offer significant performance enhancements.
