Floor spikes for speakers?

I have Revel Studio 2 speakers with 2 SVS subs in a rather large, treated and carpeted room.  I bought the speakers with no floor spikes but I'd like to know what would happen to the sound if I put them on spikes.

Thanks, curousjim. I have hardwood floors. I don’t know what’s under it, probably plywood. It’s an upstairs room in a typical late ‘80s house.

The discs are very hard metal. I don’t have carpet or padding in the room.

So, do you think I’m ok?  Should I consider more isolation under the rack?  What else should I try, if anything?

Thanks, again

Decoupling reduces vibration which lowers coloration. I decouple all my equipment which allows mechanical energy to turn into thermal energy. I started with my subs and heard the biggest difference. Still very present but tighter less boomy/extended. I use AV Roomservice and love them. Disclaimer all setups are different.

@mojo771 , give a look @ Stack Audio products. I live in an 100+ year old home, & I found the 70 series worked best under my LaScala's. I tried almost every material but, the Townshend podiums which are special order. I had the funds & ready to pull the trigger, but these S/A 70s did the trick. They have a no questions asked return policy. The glasses in my cabinet which is 30' away stopped clanging.

I will second the mention of Stack Audio AUVA 100's. You can get them with small carpet spikes. They are fantastic.
