Looking for SACD player

I want to replace my Jay's Audio CDT2-MK2 with an SACD player that would be used as a player (with it's own DAC) for SACDs and as a transport to a Berkeley Alpha 3 DAC for regular CDs.  I have Prima Luna EVO 400 amp and preamp and Devore Gibbon X speakers.

I have been looking at the Luxman D-07X, but it's a little out of my preferred price range (up to $10K).  I have also listened to a Marantz 30N and while it sounded OK, it has a lot of extras (network, bluetooth, etc) that I don't need or want.

Please don't recommend that I switch to streaming.  I prefer physical media.

Thanks

The XD versions changed the sound profile to be more analogl but still giving a clear presentation

+1 ”Unlike some older models that could be perceived as ”analytical”, the K-05XD is said to have a fuller more ”vibrant” musicality with a precise soundstage”

I'll add my exprience for what is it is worth.  My long-term flagship SACD player was the Sony XA9000ES, which to my ears sounded terrific.  I kept it going as long as I could but it finally gave up the ghost a few years back.  As back-up, I also owned an XA5400ES, which lacked the multichannel capability, and didn't sound quite as good so it sat in my home office system.  I replaced the XA9000ES with a Marantz SA-K1 Ruby, which did not sound as involving, and also refused to play certain discs, ones the XA5400ES played perfectly. I understand that there may be known problems with the Marantz transports, so beware.  I recently went all in and purchased a Luxman D-10X, which sounds amazing and also reads 100% of what I feed it.  I had been using the Sony, which is a fine machine, but the Luxman takes everything to a higher level- my wife was immediately able to tell the difference in sound, for example, and she is not a critical listener.  My dealer (Excel Audio in Newport Beach) gave me a reasonable trade-in on the Marantz.....I still have the Sony for a second system.  I wanted to audition an Esoteric as well, but was unable to find a dealer with one in stock.  But I am good to go with the Luxman.  I am fairly certain that this is my last SACD player.

I pur a new Denon DCD-A110 SACD player couple of years ago. New was $3,500. It has no output for an external DAC and it is not surround , only 2 channel stereo which is what I like. I have a 9.2 channel surround set up for video but do not care for it with music. This Denon is a fine piece , weighs over 30 lbs. solid build , terrific soundstage , I expect it to last for a long time. Plays anything you throw at it and the redbook's sound good too. Noticed a few still around now that are discounted down $500 or so. Played thru a McIntosh MA 7900 and restored JBL's.I listen mostly to classic rock. To me the original single layer SACD discs are slightly better than the hybrid but hard to find and $$$$.

I just got the Shanling SCD3.3 CD/SACD player.  First impressions are that it is outstanding, but most of my listening so far has been with CD's.  For standard redbook it beats my 6x more expensive streaming dac.  Actually quite remarkable.  Having lots of fun with some of the great classical box sets available, like the Ormandy set.  I don't have to rip all 92 CD's and the book clearly explains the provenance.

It's native SACD.  R2R DAC.  And a tube buffer.  Shanling is ChiFi (Shenzen) but they have lots of experience with CD/SACD playback and players.

You can also use it as a pure transport, it has multiple i2S options as well as the standard outputs including USB.

Thanks, everyone, for all of the feedback.  I settled on a Technics SL-G700M2 to complement (not replace) my Jay's Audio CDT2-MK2.  The Technics will be used primarily to play my relatively large (and growing) collection of SACDs.  My decision was made largely based on the fact that the Jay's sounds so good when connected to the Berkeley DAC that I couldn't give it up.
