Potential upgrade to Lampizator DAC

I currently own to Lampizator Golden Atlantic TRP 53 digital engine models (single ended/no volume control and balanced with volume control),  I currently use a separate active preamp and I'm looking to potentially upgrade to one of the following (all are generally priced in the same ballpark):

Atlantic TRP 5 - E12/2

Golden Gate 5 - E12/2

Genya Plus

Poseidon 2

Which one of these would give me the biggest improvement and appreciate any feedback/guidance.  Thanks.

intended or not i am not sure, but your post above implies the lampi dacs are somehow unreliable and require repair, like italian sports cars of old

one person’s data point... at present, i am on my 8th lampizator dac (lite 7, amber 3, atlantic, golden atlantic, level g4, level 4 g5, l4 g4+, baltic 3, baltic 4) -- none have had any issues or have needed repair or servicing of any sort (... tube replacements are separate, one sounded better with a stronger rectifier installed and another had tired output tubes that i replaced)

the older lampi’s were hand made, point to point wired, and they (and some of the lower tier newer ones) can sometimes benefit from internal upgrades, most notably going to higher end, pricier coupling caps in the output stages, so i can see how some owners may request that this be done (whether at the factory or within the us by a local qualified tech)

last point - there is this fellow in colorado his link here .. he advertises his service to lampi owners, but i spoke to him, nice enough guy, but he is not connected to nor authorized by lampi in any way to work on their gear - he just owns a baltic and has replaced the wire inside with silver wire etc etc

@jjss49 Yep -- one data point from one person who knows one tech who fixes things. I’m not representing anyone but me. He fixes other things but this is not his full time gig, so even my tech is not a good data point. He knows his stuff and these are pretty expensive but who knows why he sees them at the rate he does? No idea.

Since this is a forum and I am not representing anything more than my opinion, I’ll just leave it there. A forum thread dedicated to the question, Is X a reliable DAC? can do better. Thanks.

its not that its covering up harshness its more like it makes the music bloom with space air and decay

@rikkipuu is pointing in the right direction here. Night and day difference between an MHDT tube DAC and Lampi from personal experience. Both serve purposes within a given system, but results are vastly different depending on which way you want to lean.

Also agree with everything that @jjss49 has communicated about LampizatOr. I researched claims about reliability extensively prior to making a purchase in the used market - I was confident enough to make a purchase with no warranty.
