Should Room Acoustics be an Audiogon ‘topic’?

I also vote Yes. Why? Because the acoustics of the room are part of what we listen to. Often important. Good speakers should interact well with the room. The sound from the room, interacting with the speakers, should not harm the sound, and if possible, make the music sound even better. Acoustics is no more or less 'technical' than other audiogon topics. So this objection is dismissed, and I say, yes welcome to an acoustics forum.

This subject is the next frontier. It will vastly improve what people hear.

A topic/section on ROOM ACOUSTICS is waaaaay more important than a silly topic called CABLES.

Nothing stopping anyone from talking about it and it should be talked about more given it’s key importance, but problem is if it gets too much traction it will negatively impact the business here by reducing need to buy and sell stuff. So I doubt there would be any change in that direction here.

The good news is everything you need to know is out there and available with just a few clicks so go for it!!
