USB cable recommendation

TRY BEFORE YOU BUY! I went through this whole USB thing a couple months ago. Truthfully I'm not sure why I even decided on a new USB. I guess I wanted to max out my streamer to DAC connection.  I bought an Audience FrontRow USB  and after 500 hours of utter frustration and disappointment I decided to keep my Ansuz X2 USB which with my system works so incredibly well!  And because the Ansuz is so good maybe I'll try a higher tiered Anzus USB. 

I have both Audioquest Diamond and Audioquest Carbon USB C-to-B cables between my MacBook and various DACs and they're very good. Super clean, no noise. Very neutral. When I received them, I thought they were a bit thin and cheap looking, both the Audioquest Diamond and Audioquest Carbon. I was used to thicker and sturdier USB cables. But they sound great.

I am using a DH Labs Mirage USB A to USB C cable to connect my Innuos Stream 1 (with Phoenix USB module and LPS1 power supply) to my Schiit Gungnir2 DAC.  I had been using a reputable cable, but DH Labs cable resulted in a noticeable improvement in sound quality.  The DH Labs cables are well-made and reasonably priced.

My set up is an Innuos Pulse running into a Holo Spring 3 KTE with preamp via a Tubulus Concentus V2 USB.

I own I2S, Ethernet, as well as usb  highly recommended, I had their 2 nd best now 

have their best beating cables at 2x+ the cost.
