I had both the Brecker Bros and the Back to Back albums back in the day.
2 Trumpets And 2 Tenors. Now that’s top shelf.

@curiousjim and @acman3, This is the first album I bought by Maynard Ferguson - Conquistador 1977 – Columbia Records as a young man. At the time, I thought this was a badass album. And to me, it still is. Check out the track Mister Mellow. On that track he had more of a cadre of musicians than Herbie Hancock had on his Man-Child album track Traitor. At this time in my life I was hooked on Bob James productions, arrangements and piano playing. I thought I was so cool in those days... Oh, and I didn’t know he was Canadian.
