What’s your favorite cleaning method for connections

Lots of cleaning methods, tools and solutions to choose from out there. I’m curious about what works best for everyone concerned. Thoughts or feelings on the subject?

Happich simichrome polish to quickly remove any dirt/oxidation from the connection, then acetone to remove any film left behind from the simichrome. Finally, apply whatever contact treatment you prefer.  Lately, I've been using Deoxit shield contact Protector in its pure form, from a 1.6mL bottle with an applicator brush. Tiny bottle seems to last a long time.

Pretty elaborate process! How about a spritz of CRC? I just got a bottle of that deoxit with the applicator brush and a mixed bag of cleaning swabs. I like the precision of application and the ability to clean the positive pin insert points on the rca jacks. I believe the Deoxit has some kind of rubricant in it because it seams to be slightly viscous. Haven’t read the bottle that closely yet. Need a magnifier for that but it seams to work well. That old bottle of Audioquest cleaner that I have doesn’t seam to be available anymore. I’m wondering if they discontinued it because it acts like Tarn -x. It literally dissolves heavy oxidation on contact. Probably taking metal with it.

Everything gets a quarter turn to the right whenever I remember to do it.  Maybe 2-3 times a year.
