Roon Issues - Not able to play certain tracks

I have been running into this issue when Roon is in the radio mode where spontaneously it runs into a track it can’t play. It just sits there trying to play it.
When I go to that album and attempt to manually play that same track on Qobuz the result is the same - it won’t play. Plays other tracks from the albums just fine.
If I go back to Roon radio and skip that track the next song is played no issues.
No such problems with Tidal.

I have rebooted the Roon Nucleus One, rebooted my network, rebooted my DAC.
Even signed out of streaming services and signed back in. No bueno. This is in addition to it being sluggish and requiring an almost daily reboot to maintain sound quality and proper operating speed. Now this…

Anyone else with this problem?

I was also having this issue the last few weeks.  I asked grok about it and apparently roon has been doing some backend work involving cloud migration and content server reorganization.  I just had an update installed and it seems to be much better now.  FYI, I get much better help with roon issues by using one of the AI tools than anything from roon itself.

You may have been trying to say, "miraculously", but I like the new word because it infers that it would be a miracle if the clueless at Roon do something right.

I was having the same issue streaming some Qobuz on my Roon Nucleus Plus server a few days ago, it seems to be "solved" today (fingers crossed).

@audphile1

i apologize if someone already mentioned this but if you want to use JPlay for music stored locally, I believe you can purchase and install MinimServer on your Mac, scan the files from MinimServer and then make sure MinimServer is running in the background.  The license fee is less than $15 per year.

Well, I decided to try Roon with Qobuz this morning, and after a dozen tracks including one I know wouldn't work previously, all seems to be playing well. Visited Roon forum and noticed this from Peter Lie (Lumin guru): just 5 hours ago, don't know where he sourced this from yet though; it implies it is just Canada affected? I don't know but I assume others with issues were outside of Canada? Could someone confirm?

From Qobuz:

We have identified the source of the playback errors: it is a caching anomaly with our CDN provider.

In practice, some distribution servers are hosting a corrupted or incomplete file. Since each audio quality corresponds to a separate recording, switching quality often allows you to fall back on a healthy file and work around the issue.

Our teams are currently listing the affected tracks and carrying out a gradual cache purge. The situation should be resolved very shortly.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
