Advice needed: Have 2 Power Cables only need 1 - Which is better?

Hello All - I have 2 I think similar power cables for my Holo May KTE DAC.  I’ve tried both and like both but am trying to understand which one if either is higher end.  I believe they are BOTH versions of the Cardas Golden Reference Power Cord.  One of them is Running Springs Audio Mongoose and the other looks like a later generation Golden Reference.  Which would you keep?  Any experience with both?

I would toss a coin to see which cable sounded better and then I would listen to both of them to see if the coin toss was correct.

Yeah I am struggling.  Like them both and will sell the other.  Would rather keep what is perceived as better but it is a tough call!

Listen to each one for a week straight.

I often read that humans have the sonic memory of a Goldfish, but then why can we recognize the sound of a persons voice (not  seen/heard) for decades?

I've never compared power cords.  I just plugged them all in.  I can't say I've ever heard a big difference. 

 

I don't have any real expensive cables. One by Crystal Clear Audio (Signature silver cable), some by Core Power Technologies, and some by XLO and Audioquest.

 

I suppose I should try comparing them some day.
