Magnepan LRS+ and WiiM Amp

You haven't shared your budget, but I would get a used krell ksa series Amp (or KMA series monos)...avoid the newer KAV models. Those old krells will elevate your system  and demonstrate how good the Lrs+ can sound.  Even if the amp needs to be recapped, it'll be worth your investment.  Those old krells are damn good, high current and built like a tank and should be relatively easy on your wallet 

I was thinking about finding some Apogees and my top amp choice was going to be the Krells.  Alas, I need to focus on my end game for my current system before I start another project.  Good luck (and move beyond the Wiim).  The LRS+ has a modest price, but it needs a big boy amp.  

You mentioned that youd consider a receiver...look at Anthem.  My brother uses an integrated fron the AVM line that'll work well, but if you buy new, you'll be more into I t than you'd be with the krell.

thanks. Am based in Dubai. Right now not easy to find much Krell is not sold here in any case. And too tough to carry it back from the US- pretty heavy I think. Anthem is sold here. But I guess super expensive. Let me check.

Any views from anyone on the Vincent SV500, Cambridge EVO 150 and Mateox Audio MD1?

None of those are a good fit.  I did regional search (Dubai, Saudi Arabia) for amps that would work and found nothing used.  You’ll need to look to Europe for options.  There you can find used Krell (FPB, KSA/KMA, KAV series), Bryston 4B‑SST / SST² / 4B³) and perhaps the Hegel H20 / H30. 

Brystons are brutes and last forever.  The 4Bs are plentiful on the used market and I see them all the time on Ebay (US).  

I know this is a hassle, but it's what's required for those speakers.
