seeking recommendations for melodic , ear pleasing, and musical sounding LP's?

I have been having trouble finding LPs that sound musical

I listen to all kinds of music and am seeking harmonious and melodic tracks

The whole LP need not need have this, just a track of two is fine on a decent pressing that can still sound good on higher end resolving systems

As an example, the Eva Cassidy Songbird Album has this for me with a few tracks

thanks in advance

@audphile1 A member on this forum from the east coast visited my house once to hear my system. He knows Hull. He related to me that Hull told him that Becker and Fagen were in the studio once and clearly could hear differences of a half a decibel. Kind of a cool factoid.

Audphile wins a grammy for his excellent contributions. I wil add Steve Miller's Fly like an Eagle to that.  I bought that way back when and I'll still play it because of the musicality.

@boxcarman lol thank you!

@hilde45 yes very cool about Becker and Fagen hearing 1/2db. I’d loves to have been there for this. I would bet the equipment over at Masterdisc is all so very revealing that I’d be curious if I could hear that half decibel.

@audiocanada

You could’ve made this easier by at least mentioning your genre preferences.

But here’s my two cents worth;

Bobby Hutcherson - The Kicker - Mirrors

John Klemmer - Blowing Gold - My Love Has Butterfly Wings

Cal Tjader - La Onda Va Bien - Speak Low

Les McCaan & Eddie Harris - Swiss Movement - Compared To What

Donald Fagen -Sunken Condos - Slinky Things

Kenny Rankin - The Kenny Rankin Album - When Sunny Gets Blue

Luther Vandross - Songs - Going In Circles and all the rest “ It’s Luther”

I hope you enjoy!

Here’s one I forgot to add to my list,

Gerald Albright - “Live At Birdland West“

Gerald Albright is a master at saxophone. He has a unique style and tone and doesn’t sound like any of the myriad of saxophone player out there

This album is one of few where I think every track is a great listen. It may be hard to find. Check it out and see if it meets your requirement for musicality…
