In my case, the skipped track happens on the one above album that I just made a favorite. I assume because I JUST made it a favorite is what is causing the skipped track BECAUSE it is a new album to the system. Just a thought.
Question - Audiovana / Qobuz skips first track of one album
I can play the Blue Coast Mutineer album perfectly on my MAC computer and on my iPhone (NEVER used in my main systems). When I play the Blue Coast Mutineer album using Audirvana (it accesses Qobuz) running on my Apple iPAD (connected to an Infigo Audio IS-1 Streamer), it SKIPS the first track. I re-booted all devices, cleared history and cache with the same results. All my other albums start with the first song.
It sounds like an Audirvana / Qobuz playback issue rather than a problem with the album itself, especially since the same album starts correctly on my MAC Computer and iPhone but not on the iPad. I posted this question on the Audirvana Community forum. Please see their response below (in quotes):
"If you browse the other player forums you will see that they are also suffering issues. Qobuz are currently migrating their server data to the cloud over several months which is causing playback issues for many users across most playback apps. A quick google search on this will lead to more information. An example below
“Qobuz is currently undergoing a major, multi-month infrastructure migration, moving its servers to the cloud to enhance service quality and scalability.
As of late March 2026, this process is causing temporary, widespread issues for users, including playback dropouts, skipping tracks, and general connectivity problems with third-party audio players and streamers”
Assuming the above is true (?), I find it strange the skipped first track only appears on the Blue Coast Mutineer album. You would think it would occur on other albums.
Does anyone else have a skipped track issue or any other Qobuz issues based on the above response? Your comments are appreciated. Thanks.
