I used to buy used gear long time ago. I am now only interested in new electronics to get the most current designs and the reliability with warranty. I do my research first. I DO buy used interconnects, power cords or any cabling. I tend to keep my gear for a very long time. I've changed my speakers once and my DAC once in the past 5 years but I am now done, everything else is staying. I got a tube amp on order to shuffle with my SS amp from time to time.
Do you buy gear new, used, both?
My gear is a mix of having bought new, used and demo pieces. I know some folks that will only buy new, and others that only buy used. How about you?
