@m-db Are you implying that the REL is just a woofer capable of reproducing those frequency? I can see that but mechanically it would still be a subwoofer. Sub-bass is just a terminology to represent a certain bandwidth of those frequencies. Unless REL mentioned sub-bass as a marketing way of saying subwoofer, it is still a sub.
The location of the sub of the REL is the same where i had the HSU. The SP-8000 could of benefit the STF-2 also. Placing the REL and the others subs I had in that position has work for me the best. We cant change physics but we can manipulate to make it work to an advantage which in this case room nodes and placement. I use another room tuning software other then REW to make it work. I have data to justify my results.
