I still have my outstanding analog end and 2,000 mostly pristine and audiophile albums. Every few months, I feel that they somehow must sound better in some way. So I spin a disk. Then I listen to the same recording in streaming... and notice, it does not sound better. Then go back to streaming.
So, I should sell my $45K analog end... but then, I might start getting nostalgic and start thinking vinyl sounds better and start investing again... I guess it is a deterrent to thinking vinyl sounds better, even though I know it is the components that craft the sound not the media...well other than surface noise and pops.
I know I could put another $12K into a really high end cartridge and have it pull ahead slightly... but then that would only be for my 2,000 albums... if I put in the $12K into my digital end, it could sound a bit better for a million albums.
So, I should sell it... I guess I am just too lazy.
