DAC Recommendations for My Truck

I drive a 2015 F150 King Ranch with Sync 2.  I want to stream Amazon Music HD Unlimited Hi Res from my iPhone into my media hub which is a 3.5mm.  I have ordered the Lightning Camera adapter that allows hi res digital out of the phone and into a DAC via USB A (camera adapter).  Any suggestions for a Dongle DAC?  I want to stay in the $100 range for the first purchase so i can determine if it is worth investing more in the DAC.

I have an older iPhone with Lightning connection and an older F150 with Sync 2 so my chain will be an Apple Lightning to Camera adapter that the Dragonfly will plug into and then a 3.5mm connection from Dragonfly to Aux input in my trucks media hub.  If you have a newer iPhone and Sync system then those two connectors at each end will be different.  The camera adapter was required for the iPhone to pass through the hi res digital signal to the Dragonfly.  Without that adaptor the iPhone digital stream is capped at a lower speed.  I believe the newer Sync systems do not have a 3.5mm like the 2.

A Schitt Modi 3+ can connect to your adapter. Not a dongle but compact and excellent sound in that price range.

@mashif @maam522a , thank you gentlemen now you have me thinking. I have an old iPhone and actually just lost my Ford’s app ability due to requiring a newer phone. I have a Schiit Modi in the leftovers closet and my truck has a usb input. So right now it’s  IPhone Lightning to usb with the Audioquest Carbon. I guess I could try my Jitterbug too. Cheers , Mike B.

Already pulled the trigger.  Besides, the quality of the system in my truck is more of a limiting factor than the DAC.  I just wanted to be able to feed it something better than the MP3 level music from iPhone, Satellite Radio, or radio.
