One way you could try and see if a switch will make a difference in your system. Purchase this off of Amazon if work as advertised. Then make a decision about returning it and then getting the Phoenix.
are NET Switches worth considering?
I have an Innuos Pulsar Streamer that gives me everything I need - incredible detail, imaging and PRAT. I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with NET switches? I'm particularly interested in the Innuos Phoenix NET and I'm wondering if adding this switch is worth the money. So for those of you who have great streamers is a net switch a must?
I should mention that my only source for music is streaming.
My Innuos Pulsar feeds my Accuphase DC-37 Processor/DAC and my other components include an Accuphase C2300 preamplifier and an Accuphase A-48S Class-A amplifier.
Thanks in advance!

@curiousjim I guess poor quality hardware could allow more noise into the system but a “good” clock and cables will help clean the signal and improve SQ. @gkelly good idea. More than one way to skin a cat. |

Silent Angel makes nice audiophile switches and linear power supplies to go with them: English Electric (a Chord company) makes well-regarded switches, too: https://englishelectric.uk/8-switch/ I think both would be about $750 USD. I use the Silent Angel Bonn N8 with a Forester F1 linear power supply with my Innuos Zen Mini Mark III and McIntosh DAC2 (in a MA8950), with Shunyata Gamma cables. The Silent Angel switch and LPS made a nice improvement when it was added. |
