Phono Stage - Gold Note PH -10 & PSU 10 power supply ? or comparable

I'm upgrading my tube ARC pre-amp and looking for your experience with Phono Stage units, please.  Although I've had several pre-amps, I haven't had a pre-amp that's only line stage and a separate phono stage unit. Love my vinyl and have a $5K MC Cartridge Considering Gold Note. Perhaps the PH-10 or PH-5.2 w/respective power supplies.

My TT rig is ~ $14k and considering a ~$20K list pre amp but they're all line stage only.
Is $ 4.5K-$5  a good target price point for a phono stage?
I really don't want to go to $7-10K+ range.
What  is a good price pt. guideline for a better phone stage?
Looking for  recommendations and guidance
Thanks

For $5k you can get an ARC Ref phono 2se which will run circles around a PH-10 w LPS. The Gold Note is really quite good for $ a good friend here w top of line Gold Note a BAT > Accuphase > TAD gets a lot out of his. I heard top of line Sutherland this weekend for 4 hours at another friend system Lyra Etna > Rega Nias > SL > VTL 6.5 > Vandersteen M5 > Vandersteen Kento… SL is imo very quiet but lacking the ARC holographic image and bloom…. These observations based on system synergy balancing and frankly all sound excellent

Clarification: I owned the Gold Note 10 w LPS for phono stage for 3rd arm

/ table along side Ref phono 2se.

Can’t speak to the PH-10 but I have the PH-1000 with the PSU 1250. It sounds great but system synergy does matter. I have a few turntables and my Rega NAIA with Apheta 2 cart does much much better with a matching Rega Aura phonostage. The other TT is. Michell GyroDec with Soundsmith Sussuro cart and that one sounds great on the PH1000. If you can find one used it will be within your budget.

Would be useful to know more about your TT (incl cart for specs) set up and system. synergy may influence your choice. I looked at different options in that price range over the past year and my choice would be the Modwright PH9.0x. Better than the Goldnote IMHO.
