SHARE YOUR SACDs THAT SOUND FANTASTIC!!

I am starting this thread at someone’s suggestion, and it was a VERY good suggestion!  Share the title, artist, and the SACD issuing company of really good sounding SACDs you've spent some time with.

I’ll get the ball rolling...

"WHITES OFF EARTH NOW!" by The Cowboy Junkies: MoFi.  Unfortunately, out of print, but I wouldn’t bat an eye at paying a hundred bucks for a copy due to the music and the sonics.  In my opinion, it sounds better than "Trinity Sessions".

"THE GIRL IN THE OTHER ROOM" by Diana Krall: Verve.  Coming up with the second was harder than the first because there are many to choose from.  This SACD is warm, palpable, punchy, dimensional, with truth of timbre in spades.  Very intimate sound.  As a system becomes more transparent, so does this disc, seemingly without end.

I won’t share any more because I don’t want to be an SACD hog.  LET’S HEAR ’EM!!

Patricia Barber "Cafe Blue", unmastered...Premonition SACD, also "Modern Cool" by IMPEX (2024).

"Bill Withers at Carnegie Hall", MOFI limited edition

Sara K.   "Made in the Shade"  by Stockfisch SACD

"Getz/Gilberto"  Verve/Mofi Original Master Recording...Stan Getz with Joao and Astrid Gilberto and Antonio Carlos Jobin

I have a hundred or so, but a few that haven't been mentioned are Train, Drops of Jupiter/Columbia,  Any of the "World's Greatest Audiophile Vocal Recordings " are great compilation discs.  There are several vol.

I do like SACD's.  Here's a couple that I think sound really good:

Art Pepper + Eleven - Contemporary CSA-7568-6

Rhapsody - Ravel/Bartok - Rosanne Philippens (violin), Yuri van Nieuwkerk (piano) - Channel Classics CCS SA35013

Santana Abraxas probably the hybrid too but I have the original single layer which is great , sounds like Carlos and the boys are right in my living room. I have about 25 or more original single layer SACD's and all have amazing sound. Blood , Sweat and Tears , Blind Faith they are easy to spot because most of them the disc upper side is turquoise blue. Cheap Thrills hybrid , CCR Revival first album , Volunteers Jefferson Airplane's swan song , All the older Stones SACD's , Dark Side Of The Moon , Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd Nightfly by Donald Fagan , Steely Dan Aja and the others too. Critical is a high end player which brings out the full soundstage and dynamics.
