Audio Artistry Beethoven Elite

Hi,

i inherited a pair of Beethoven Elite by Audio Artistry but i dont know how to use them. Are they hard to use?

The elite version had a 4 way active crossover for each channel. The standard Beethovens had a 2 way active crossover with a passive crossover in the box attached to the panels. The elite requires 8 channels of amplification (4 for right and 4 for left). The Elite active crossover is also XLR balanced only connections. The elite has no passive crossovers for the panels. Very, very nice speakers and one of Sigfried Linkwitz's finest designs!

The originals I purchased were one of the Beethoven pairs Siegfried Linkwitz still had when Audio Artistry ceased. It came back as a different company and speakers for a limited time later. I reached out to Marshall Kay asking if it was possible to acquire the 4-channel active crossover to convert mine to fully active Beethoven Elite. Fortunately for me, he did have one he sold to me.
