JPlay experts? — Innuos Stream1 is invisible!

Steps to Integrate Innuos with JPLAY

1. Access Innuos Settings: Open a web browser, go to my.innuos.com, and select your Innuos device to access the Sense interface.
2. Enable UPnP Server: Navigate to System > Settings > UPnP.
3. Activate Integration: Toggle the UPnP integrationswitch to ON.
4. Configure Streamer: Under the "Network Streamers" section, select SCAN to detect available renderers. Select the device you want to stream to (it will turn gold) and click SAVE.
5. Configure for JPLAY (Optional but recommended):For better compatibility, set the streamer to "Compatibility Mode" within the Innuos UPnP settings.
6. Use JPLAY: Open the JPLAY app on your iOS device. The Innuos server should now appear as a library source. 

I would also recommend rebooting innuos to terminate whatever tasks it may be running 

Thanks, @audphile1 , but this is exactly what seems to be the problem. As Step 6 in your AI says, the Stream1 appears as a library source not an audio output.  

Hi, Marcin here – creator of JPLAY. I saw your support email as well.

You're not doing anything wrong. The Innuos Stream1 does not support UPnP as a renderer (audio endpoint) – it only functions as a UPnP server. That's why JPLAY lists it as a library but not as an audio output.

The other devices you mentioned (Aurender, Gato, BlueSound) do advertise themselves as UPnP renderers, which is why JPLAY picks them up as audio outputs without any issues.

Unfortunately, this is a limitation on the Innuos side and not something we can work around in the app. You may want to reach out to Innuos and let them know you'd like UPnP renderer support – the more users request it, the more likely they are to consider it.

When it comes time to upgrade my Stream1 and Phoenix reclocker, I am for sure going to take this into consideration (although maybe #Innuos will have fixed this limitation by then!).
