amp I bought 3 days ago not powering on - electrical engineer advice wanted

I bought a used Musical Fidelity A380 in good condition. Played it every day, worked fine.

Today it did not turn on. There were no sign of failure yesterday. Could it be a fuse or power supply?

I'm guessing that tiny board is the soft start.

The instructions travel downstream that the power is and then it is rejected by another component. two scenarios: 1) turns on, led on volume dial turns red in 8 seconds 2) does not turn on, led on volume dial turns red in 8 seconds
