@nasaman If you try the Hemingway products, MAKE SURE that you can return them if they do not work out.  These are highly praised by a few people in the A'gon forums and I have no idea why.  And it has nothing to do with synergy!

I bought a Beta power cord.  I was to buy a pair so that I could try these on the amps and electrostatic speakers, but thank goodness I only bought one!  I tried the Beta power cord in my system at the preamp, phono stage, DAC and network processor.  You can reference my system here.

At each link I tried this cable, I compared to the CH Acoustic X20.  The Beta had horrible tonal coherency, severely lacking clarity, and completely forget about decays and harmonics.  Before the X20 became my new reference, I ran with Dream State and Silent Source Music Reference power cords for 15 years.  Neither of these exhibit the serious flaws of the Beta.  

Perhaps you might have a very different outcome, but again, make sure to get a return policy.  I took a serious hit to sell this one cable.  Fortunately, I got a few other cables at killer prices to offset this one disaster purchase.
