Can't comment on either of those speakers, and thus I'll defer to my esteemed HiFi experts.
But, consider auditioning either the Klipsch Heresy IVs or Forte IVs. Although I know they are not for everyone (to each their own).
They're lively, fun, dynamic, soundstage very well, image very well, and integrate perfectly with Rel subs. I've been told Kef image and soundstage a degree better than those Klipsch speakers... but, going further on imaging specifically will take you to the clinical side.
People refer to Klipsch as being bright. I've owned Klipsch for 35 years and have no idea what they're talking about (honestly). I have never viewed them as bright. If fun, lively, and dynamic equates to bright, then maybe those folks should live under a bridge down by the river.
Turning to your dilemma, I thought I would propose listening to Klipsch because of what you'll learn from the experience. If you don't like a fun, dynamic speaker, you'll know immediately and can cross it off your list. Depending upon where you land, it very likely would tell you whether you lean more towards the clinical (Kef) or the warmer (Lintons) presentations.
BTW, the Klipsch have elements of both within the same speaker (only "elements", but again, none of the Klipsch Heritage line are clinical nor bright...only lively like you're there...with a touch of warmth).
Best of luck with your choices.
