How old are you?  It looks like you'd need to get on your knees every time you selected a record.

I'm into clean design but it seems vertical storage would be a much better answer. Start with Ikea for a selection.

I had a lot, say 2500, inherited over 4000, I am weeding, selling and giving away, to get to only 2 rows, just above and below my eye level, 3-3ft units, so 18lf total. that's it for me.
