bdp24?

Haven't seen @bdp24 around since late October of last year. Anybody heard from him? Just hoping he's ok, I really enjoy his contribution to the forum.

He lives (or did live a few years ago) in Portland, OR. In fact, I bought my VPI HW-19 turntable from him. He helped me measure the arm board and correctly position the hole for my tonearm (Moerch UP-4). I was hoping to have him return to audition the setup, but he vanished. Based on his postings and his appearance when I met him, he is in his late 70s but I'm often far off in "guess my age."

Not too far off @kacomess (I’m 75). I wanted to hear your system (with the then-new Maggie LRSes), but for some reason couldn’t. Invite me back! laugh Regarding me vanishing, there is one Audiogon member whom I believe would welcome that development wink

I always keep a lookout for you at Music Millennium, especially on Record Store Day. Must be handy living only a few blocks away from such a good music shop. I was just there a coupla days ago, picking up the new Analogue Productions reissue of Little Walter’s first album (The Best Of, a compilation of his 45 RPM singles, a common type of album in the late-50’s). I also found a clean copy of Jerry Lee Lewis’ Southern Roots album (only five bucks). I got home and discovered I already have that LP, a not-uncommon occurrence at my house. wink
