Console or other surface for amplifier and turntable

I'm wondering if anyone has any advice for sturdy and appealing consoles or racks for amps and turntables. A lot of the custom stuff I've seen includes storage for vinyl, the problem being that either it's nowhere near enough storage, or it's so much that the whole thing becomes ludicrous. Ideally I'd just have something solid but not too obtrusive to place in a central spot with the speakers placed in front toward either side. I can store my LPs elsewhere. Any advice much appreciated...

Hey, as crazy as it sounds, try a solid core door. Plain ones are inexpensive and you can design it how you want. Plenty of room for components.

@steveinconverse

sounds smart to me, and solid core, well made, can be purchased in a narrow width (cost less) drilled or notched for wires, cut to depth or length, ....

I once used a hollow core door for a kitchen counter, back in college days, no money, so proud to get it done for the wifey.

That dark brown cork that was popular in the late 60's on the wall above it.

It was Brooklyn, turned out the Roaches loved hollow core doors.

Solid steel extremely well made big WAF for me

rock solid can create as big or compact as you like lots of options
