@vermontstephen well you along with most people will be unfamiliar with my main system, but here is a list of the essentials:  Sony SSAR2 speakers, REL SX212 subs, Conrad Johnson ART 27A, ART88 and ART Phono, VPI HW40, Technics SL1200GAE, McIntosh MR78, PS Audio P20, all wire by Audio Sensibility, too many phono cartridges to list.  @parkergetdean I love your story about how you kept your first car from being stolen.  You are a problem solver and innovator, the best kind.

@billstevenson I know more of those components than you might imagine.  I had a Conrad Johnson PV -12A for a while.   Looks like you have a great system!  My prior system was pretty unusual; Blue Circle pre amp and matching class A monoblocks as well as Scientific

Fidelity Tesla speakers.   Anyone remember those?

@vermontstephen, @sophiemia, I'd get together.  At this time of year, I'm more likely to drink single malt or a cote rotie or hermitage, but as with music, so with drink: chacun a son gout!
