Need a Repair Shop in Boston

I used FullerSound out of Waltham, MA to upgrade the capacitors in my speakers.  All went fine, but it was my only time dealing with him so of course use at your own discretion.  He does appear to have a strong online reputation for what that's worth?

Tube or solid state?

You might try the Natural Sound on Rte 9 in Framingham.

The last time I was at Natural Sound they said they no longer do repairs.   They used to have a full time tech.
