Vermont?

I know other users have asked about audiophiles in Vermont in the past, but I thought I’d check again.   I’d love to be part of this community.  Is there anyone out there?

thanks!

@billstevenson I spent every other weekend at my friend's cabin in Lyman for 20+ years (Lyman is 15 miles west of Littleton, NH).

We hiked every peak and nook in a 50 mile radius. We always felt that Vermonters were like Canadians, soft and nice and we were the tough ones. (Not that we were though)

My friend was a collector of electronics and I was maximalist, and I kept bringing up "2nd system" audio gear to improve the "cabin sound".For the most part those 80s Denon and Yamaha amps and Cambridge Soundworks speakers sounded amazing!

@parkergetdean yep I know the area.  Believe it or not I have cycled from Colebrook down there and back years gone by.  Too old for those long distances any more, although I still ride pretty much every day even now.  Even today, winter and all, I have a stationary bike in the basement.  In the good weather I do about 25 miles a day up here.  My minimalist system up here is Marantz PM10 and B&W 802s and SA10 and 3 TTs at the moment.  LOL.

The PM10 is not minimalist, it's cutting edge. So are the B&W 802s.

But you knew that @billstevenson :)

I bike every day too, it's easy on the joints and if I want to go hard, I got around hills in my neighborhood.

Well, if any of you happen to find yourself in the Waterbury, VT area (near Stowe) you’re welcome to come by and talk hifi, and hear my humble system.  I’ll supply some great beer and Whistle Pig!
