I recently sent my Signature One to J.R. at WAM Engineering for analysis. Turns out the stylus minor radius is around 0.6 mil so even though it’s marketed as a "super fine line contact nude diamond" it’s not really a true fine line profile with 0.3 mil or less that you see in fancier cartridges. At the ideal azimuth angle, we achieved crosstalk of 34.4 dB and 33.8 dB which is exceptional. VTA was off by about 5 degrees. Zenith error was just 0.18 degrees. It already sounded fantastic before, but after applying the corrective shim the overall clarity and instrument separation and soundstage went up a couple notches and is now on par with my high end digital system.
