Accuphase E-280 Voltage Conversion (100V to 120V)

Does anyone know how to convert voltage of Accuphase E-280 100v to 110/120v?

The following is the state of 100V

cj64

Somehow I had a nice photo in the draft but it did not come through, and this one is too small , anyway I tried to help :(

CONVERTED to Ac 240 from the e bay seller, the above pic is for the colors related to 240 and E-280

Violet , Red, Orange to neutral, Brown+Black end of windings in series, Yellow Phase, Blue.

It works for me in Australia.

Happy listening!

it seems accuphase didn’t change power supply design for e2xx series for years! need to be careful if there is no standby small power transformer etc. ideally need to disconnect all transformer tabs, and properly identify all primary coil connections (resistance measurement will do), then reconnect accordingly to AC power needs, here is accuphase relevant schematics:

I wish the newer Accuphase integrateds were this easy to convert.

It sounds like they may have made it a more complex operation with non-convertible transformers and/or soldered connections. From Axiss:

"Accuphase builds different power supplies for Japan (100V), the U.S. (120V), and Europe (230V), each with custom transformers optimized for the respective voltage."
