Can Qoboz Connect sound better than Qobuz viz Aurender Conductor?

Interesting. I just tried both and actually preferred conductor for my N150 > M3.
 

I did a Gemini AI search to try to make sense of any differences. 2 primary differences: The biggest being SSD caching for conductor vs real time buffering for QC & the second being a “Signal Path & "Processing Tax" with conductor being the most direct route. 
It describes the conductor sound as more organic & the Qobuz connect as more airy. Exactly what I found, and would explain the system dependency & listening preferences.

After a recent iPad and Conductor upgrade (same day), Conductor developed an annoying issue on the iPad.  On the left of the Conductor display, above the queue, there is a progress bar for the current track.  Elapsed time is on the left, time remaining is on the right of the bar.  Since the upgrade, the second digit in seconds shown for both wraps around and appears on the line below everything else.  Huh?  Not a big thing, but it was not like this before.  Contacted Aurender Support over a week ago, still waiting for a reply.  In search of better, I experimented with Qobuz Connect (QC).

I have been a fan of the Conductor app, but find the QC sound to be preferable.  While not a huge difference, the system and soundstage with QC is bigger and fuller.  The QC app has nice features, and as with any app, requires a bit of a learning curve.  When my listening session is complete, I switch back to Conductor and use it to power off my N20, saving (or losing) an opportunity to get off my butt.

I ve noticed the same on my Eversolo 10.

Like mentioned in the other thread, QC sounds better not just different than all native apps I have experienced with except Volumio in Rivo plus.  Anyone knows what is the rationale?
