What External DAC pairs best with Audio Research Equipment?

I currently am running AR Ref 210 monoblock amps and AR Ref 5 SE preamp with a Teac N701 streamer/DAC with AudioVector QR 7 speakers. Was considering buying an external DAC. Here are the 3 I was considering anyone out there ever pair any of these DACs with Audio Research gear? If so how did it sound? Thanks

 Audio Research DAC 9

Weiss 204 Mark 2 DAC

Hegel N50 Raven DAC

2andy

given the generally understood excellent tonal, timbral  and imaging traits of top arc gear, i would think that modern clear, open, very liquid but fast sounding dacs such as the following would synergize well (these from personal ownership experience):

weiss

gustard r2r, for a lower cost option

better chords (qutest and up)

msb

bricasti m1

Thanks all!  great answers! I think I’m gonna give the Weiss 204 Mark 2 a shot I’ll let u know how it sounds when set up & lived with 😂

I am running a Linn Klimax DSM/3 Organik direct (balanced) into a Ref 75 SE. This combo is exquisite, an extremely low noise floor, very black background with amazing air and separation. Source is Qobuz and a NAS full of FLAC’s from CD’s and LP’s.

n please let us know how this turns out

best to you on your musical journey

I have ARC 5SE going into ECM Nemo MonoBlock. Preamp is fed by Denafrips Terminator 2, I have tried many from canadian to European to Swiss Dacs. Terminator is just perfect. PS Audio DSD was good too. Have tried Pontus, Venus and Aries  from denafrips as well, terminator is just smooth. and Arc adds the glory,
