Comparisons of the Pass-Labs XP-22 with the CODA 07X ?

I presently own a Pass-Labs XP-22 and I'm pretty happy with it.  I just ordered a CODA #16 amp and was wondering if any out there have done a sonic comparison between the XP-22 and the 07X.  I'm seriously considering switching preamps and would like to know more about the 07X from owners.

Thanks !

Hi All,  Thanks for your inputs and suggestions.  I think after some reading, that rather recently, CODA went with new notably lower noise FET's and I believe they use them in the #8 and #16 amp front ends.  I wonder if speaking with CODA they could allay my concerns about quiescent noise in the 07x.  Pass uses NOS Toshiba FET's that have long since gone out of production, and my XP-22 is really quiet.  As I understand it, they bought up a quantity of them prior to their ceasing production.  I'm headed to the Tampa Audio Expo today, so I'll try and contact CODA next week.  I hope they will discuss the 07x noise with me since I already ordered the #16 amp.

@liquidsound I owned XP-22 and it is a terrific preamplifier. Replacing it with the Coda preamp will be a mistake.
XP-22 is very transparent and very natural and smooth sounding at the sand time.
Coda amp will add some sparkle and speed. If you are looking at extracting a bit more detail from your music I would recommend taking a good look at your source(s). That’s where you will find what you’re looking for.

@audphile1  I do like the XP-22 for all the reasons you said, and I do believe the CODA #16 will add some speed and possibly some sparkle.  I believe I'll wait till I get the #16 and get it broken in before I make a decision to change preamps.

@hk_fan  I believe the XP-32 would be a step up from my XP-22 however I really don't want to spend that much.
