Jewelsleeves are gone - any alternatives?

I have removed my plastic jewel cases, and put almost 1,000 CDs into Jewelsleeves, saving mountains of space in storage. I have a hundred or so left to go, and just found out that Jewelsleeves stopped production in 2023. I bought a lot back in the day, but am about to run out.

Are there alternatives to those sleeves that store, and display, the tray card? The Jewelsleeve allowed the disc and booklet to be stored in the front, and the tray card full length in the back.  It also had a tab on the top that allowed one to put a label with CD info on, so you can use file cabinet style storage. Again, I need less than one hundred,

Thanks,

Hi David,

Let us know how the DiscSox work out.  I'm also interested in a space saving storage solution.  I have over 1000 CD's taking up space.

Thanks,

Dana

@acman3,

If I were storing them "spine's out" (so to speak), that system would be perfect. Instead, I store them in a made-for-jewelsleeve file cabinet, and so the one-inch tab at the top to insert a label for the Artist, title of the album, etc is important. I wish I had the ability to share images of my current system, but it seems to require some magic I haven't quite figured out.

I still have hope for the DiscSox...

I have a bunch of the Space Saving Sleeves that I decided not to use.

I am willing to make a deal to get rid of them.

Best regards.

Thank you, bbroussard. But today, the DiscSox CDPro Sleeves came in, and they will do the job. They are exactly the same size as the Jewelsleeves, and hold the same things in the same way. Including the tab at the top, which allows a label to be inserted, and therefore, the file cabinet will work with them.

They don't seem quite as sturdy, but I don't throw them across the room, so I bet they'll  hold up just fine.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I didn't really expect a happy ending, but this is a good resolution.

By the way, a company called Swift River Wood Products made what they called "Jewel-Chests."  I got a four drawer set that holds over 1,000 CDs, and takes up very little space. These DiscSox CD Pro sleeves will also fit. If any of you are trying to find a way to condense the footprint of your CD collection, I highly recommend the Jewel-Chest, to use with the DiscSox sleeves.
