Looking for a well matched Preamp. Pls advise!

Currently using my Marantz as my preamp. No longer needing for surround etc.
my current equipment is :
Adcom GFA555ms
KEF LS50 50th anniversary.
MHTD Orchid tube dac(used for streaming Roon).
Oppo BDP105. (Occasionally for CD transport)
SVS PB12-NSD Sub
Victrola Carbon with Ortofon blue

So I’m looking to replace the Marantz with a proper Preamp. Need to drive the sub as well as a Phono amp(in case I move on from the Victrola)

Looking for suggestions! TIA

Rotel’s RC-1572MKII Preamplifier,

Note I have the Mk1.

While I’m searching for another hi end preamp after I sold all my mac gear, I picked up one of these used for a few hundred bucks and I’m really surprised how nice it is for the money. It seems to not affect anything in the chain negatively and doesn’t add much of its own flavor, its clean, detailed and musical. Full of features as well, DAC, MM stage, Balanced in an out as well as RCA’s. Sub out etc. decent remote as well.

For system reference I’m driving a $24000 Moon amp and Magico A3’s with it. It’s rather a nice little preamp that is a great value IMO. Especially if you find one used.

I don’t have any specific recommendations for a preamp (I’m pretty much an integrated amp guy). But since you’re thinking of upgrading the TT in the future, you might want to consider a separate budget-friendly phono stage for now, along with a higher end preamp. Then you have a nice choice of preamps without a phono stage. When/if you upgrade the TT you can match a new phono stage with it. There are some decent stand-alone phono stages out there at good prices. The used market especially is awash with units from folks who have upgraded.

Thanks for all the advice. I’m sort of leaning towards the Rogue RP-1. I think it should match well for my MHDY Orchid tube DAC, as well as for an upgrade from the Victrola(if/when).
