How do you choose a turntable ?

@inna I’m hesitant to buy used tables. If you do decide to get a used one, make sure you ask the seller if the table and all accessories are in original packaging and packed according to the manual. Ask for pictures. 
As to how you choose a turntable…choose based on your budget and pick the best option according to information you distilled from reviews and forums. 

audphille1, yes, but I couldn't afford new Spacedeck, even used one was tough enough, and I thought that this particular turntable was what I wanted. Basically, Spacedeck was and is considered true music lover's turntable, for a serious music lover, of course. I don't plan to upgrade it soon, certainly not until I have upgraded speakers and phono stage.

Recently got a new majik lp12 without auditioning knowing that there are many upgrades available if need be, although it sounds good as is. Linn also offer many colour options. I got the rosewood

Go to Axpona in April. Then look and listen till your head spins.  Then narrow it down from there based on reviews and advice.
