This is likely something weird with your network. Can you take the device to a friends house and see if you have the same issue there?
Assuming that you don't, then it is a matter of identifying what is causing the disruption. Certain devices can output signals on your network that will disrupt a UPnP connection. It used to be that I would look for an older Mac mini on the network but most of the ones that were problematic are out of service. They need to be 4+ years old.
I would confirm the device works on another network then I would take a list of the devices on my netwerk and do a search to see which ones are known to cause UPnP issues. This could also be accomplished by turning them off one at a time.
It could also be a setting on your router or if you are using wireless mesh.
