What speaker is the most musical, one you never want to sell?

I've ran into a few "permanent" components over the years,

I'm wondering what are the most satisfying speaker you've owned?

traudio

traudio, I have never heard a V10. I do have a single 8, for my center channel. It blends very well with the 888's. I have not noticed excessive bass. I know every room sounds different. I'm in a 1300 sq ft room, and have (3) subs to balance out the system. But, in 2ch mode I can run the 888's alone, and with the subs, calibrated with a miniDSP and REW software. Most music doesn't need subs. I don't like boomy bass. These are good, tight sounding bass speakers, at least in my room.

A beautifully restored/customized set of Altec Valencia. After the Sonus Faber, Thiel, Equation, Audio Note etc go-round (still have the ANs) these suit me in every way and bring me pure audio joy!

My Reference 3A deCapos. The only speaker I had once, sold, and then realized I had to get again years later. And now that I have them, I cannot possibly see letting them go.

I see everyone listing their favorites based on their exposure to a limited number of speakers over their lifetime so far. How can they possibly know which speaker they’ll truly love and never want to get rid of? It’s like picking up stone or shell on the beach—you never know what bigger or prettier one you might come across next.  Well, I will tag along here: Wharfedale Linton if you know how to tame it.
